Our internship programme continues!

At the beginning of this year, we proudly launched the very first Eidolon Internship Programme, welcoming three wonderful trainees who worked with us for three months. During their time here, they explored how our institution operates from the inside, took part in day-to-day management, supported our events, conducted interviews with collectors for the Eidolon Journal, and pursued their own research projects.

We are now starting the next chapter of the programme. For the coming three-month period, we are pleased to welcome Gaia Bernabe-Belvis โ€“ joining us from Berlin. Gaia will take part in the same range of activities: editorial work, institutional tasks, and independent research, while also bringing her own perspective and practice into our environment as a remote intern in early 2026.

Gaia Bernabe-Belvis (born in 2001, in Davao del Sur, Philippines) is a BA Photography student at the University of Europe, Berlin. Her work explores belonging, memory, and the intimate spaces that shape identity. Through a documentary-conceptual approach, she examines how personal and collective histories intersect within migrant communities. Rooted in empathy and research-driven curiosity, her practice focuses on visual storytelling and the preservation of cultural memory. In addition to her photographic practice, she teaches basic black & white and colour film development and organises exhibitions.

She is a co-founder ofย Lakambini, a non-profit & women-led organisation, which fosters inclusivity, visibility, and creative growth for Filipina artists through a variety of formats.
