Submission
Thank you for your interest in submitting your work to eidolon journal.
You can read our Style Guidelines for Authors here.
We welcome various types of submissions, including
- Written essays or interviews related to banal imaging, vernacular photography, and photographic archives
- Reviews of exhibitions or books related to aforementioned topics
- Photo essays
Submission Requirements
- All submissions must be original and previously unpublished.
- Photos should be in JPEG or TIFF format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi and a minimum size of 1000 x 1000 pixels.
- Written submissions should be in Word .docx format, between 800 - 4000 words (5500 - 20000 characters with spaces).
- All submissions must include a short artist's statement or an explanation of the work's context and significance.
- Please include a brief bio and contact information with your submission.
Submission Process
- Please submit your work via email to the editorial team at endre@kollektivfotografia.com
- In the subject line, please include the type of submission (photo essay, written essay, or review).
- Please do not send more than one submission at a time.
- We will respond within a maximum of 2-4 weeks regarding your submission status.
If your work is accepted, we will ask for high-resolution images and any necessary permissions for use of the images. We welcome submissions from emerging and established artists, writers, enthusiasts and scholars alike. Thank you for considering submitting your work to Eidolon.
